I often use quotes and images in my work to provide a catalyst for reflection. I tend to use my own photographs, taken on my wanderings and they help frame my own reflection and developing practise too. This is a monoprint I created from grasses gathered on a walk. It's called 'Dancing in the Moonlight' and was both meditative during and afterwards. And I get to create something which I learn and get inspiration from.In January exhibited these prints at #southsquarecentre where I'm based. It went incredibly well and I sold much of the work including this one. (Let me know what you think by the way). So why am I posting about this? I'm a coach and a facilitator who runs #MyNextChapter, providing spaces for people to think and plan for what's next. I spend much of my time supporting others. I want to remind you, people, us who are the supporters of others, of the benefits of giving some time, energy and focus to ourselves and what we love. It makes us whole. These things meet our needs and in turn we can live our lives and our purpose more.To find out more about My Next chapter, please head over to our site 🌱 ow.ly/9FMX50IX5FW#changemakers#highestpointofcontribution#whatmakesyourheartsing#creativeplay#seriousplay#reflectthinkmake... #MindfulnessMonday 🌱Join us on Mindful Mondays for a chance to renew, recharge and rejuvenate. This is a reminder to take just 10 minutes of your morning to yourself, with a ritual you enjoy. Whether that's sitting quietly drinking your morning coffee, a morning walk out in nature or setting time aside for mediation. As Jon Kabat Zinn states, 'mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally'. #reflection#changemakers... See MoreSee Less
